Fish Perfect for your Aquarium
Fish make for wonderful pets, as long as you care for them well. Aquariums are great places to look at in your house. But the work involved in keeping an aquarium can put off so many people. Should you manage that task, you shall find them to be great pets to have around. This calls for you to select fish that shall be easy to care for. You also need the peaceful breeds that can live among others well. Here are examples of such fish for you to consider.
Danios are small, active and colorful fish. You will find these as red, yellow and green. They are lively but hardly aggressive and live well with other species. They shall do well in a large aquarium with gravel and plants at the bottom, with pH levels close to that of fresh water.
Black Molly, on the other hand, can survive in fresh, brackish or salt water. This makes it easier to care for them. They tend to be platinum colored, dusty gold or black. They eat mostly flake and pellet foods, bloodworms, and brine shrimp. They live well with other similar sized fish.
Platies are even more colorful, mostly in blue, purple, red-orange, and yellow. They can also be bred for more color options. They are passive, and don’t mind living with other passive fish are. Their males are usually tinnier than the females. You should put them in warmer water, and feed them flake food, freeze-dried food, and algae.
Betta fish come in shapes like half-moon, double-tail and crown tail. They prefer warmer water that it changed frequently.
Neon Tetra come with silver or white abdomens with bright blue backs. They are also social with other species.
Guppies are the most playful, and you shall see them breeding a lot. If you keep some, it is only a matter of time before you have a full family. The female species is normally twice as big as the meals in size. The males are however the brighter colored ones.
You shall tell a Rainbow fish by the way there are colored. They shall then grow more colorful when they settle in their new aquarium. They are not aggressive or that much active.
Glofish are like Danios, save for their neon shine. They prefer the company of other less aggressive fish.
